We talk a lot about checking our boobs and the importance of knowing our bodies.Β Here are some breast cancer facts to have a think about and maybe share with a friend to help raise awareness.
π΄ Everyone has breast tissue, which means people of all genders can get breast cancer.
π΄ In the UK 1 in 7 women and 1 in 100 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
π΄ If caught early, breast cancer is curable, which is why regular checking is so important.
Here are some top boob checking tips:
π π Check regularly, once a month is great!
π π Know whatβs normal for you; if you have periods your boobs will likely change with your monthly cycle, get to know your rhythm.
π π Look and feel when you check your boobs.
π π Remember your collarbones and armpits; breast tissue isnβt just in your boobs and this is the same for both men and women.
